St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church

Students from Saint Thomas University and the University of New Brunswick are always welcome at St. Matthew at 1039 Regent Street. The church is located in Luther Place which is quite near the UNB campus, just a block down Regent Street. The worship space is at the end of the building nearest Regent Street. The congregation is a small but friendly group of Christians from all races and all walks of life. The Sunday morning service is at 11 am with fellowship following the service. Lutherans are in full communion with the Anglican Church of Canada, and you may want to visit and worship at St. Paul’s Anglican Church. St. Paul’s, a beautifully-shaped brown structure with buttresses, is located opposite the Mount Allison Swan Pond at 125 Main Street. Sunday worship is held at 11 am. Regular services are on Sundays at 11 am, with Holy Communion on the second Sundays of the month and fellowship meetings on the first Sundays of the month. Dress is generally casual.
